REPRESENT THE INTERESTS
Of taxicab medallion owners and operators, dispatchers, taxi companies, and allied industries in Philadelphia. It will advocate for sound regulations and legislation that furthers the industry’s interests and those of its customers.
SERVE AS A VOICE
For those in the Philadelphia taxicab industry whereby their interests may be safeguarded and advanced. For too long the Parking Authority has played one actor off against another. It is time for the industry to speak with one voice.
Forward-thinking elements in the Philadelphia taxi industry around a common goal of improving the industry’s function as a vital element in the City’s transportation system and hospitality sector. It will work with the Philadelphia Parking Authority to develop standards and improved practices with input from the hospitality and tourism industries, consumers, elected officials, and civic leaders.
